Role Overview & Responsibilities

Teaching Assistants and SEN specialists empower pupils with additional needs to achieve their full academic potential. Emerald247 places Level 2/3 TAs and EHCP 1:1 support staff in mainstream and special schools.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for assigned pupils with EHCP requirements
Run small group interventions for phonics, reading, and foundational numeracy
Implement sensory routines, visual timetables, Makaton signs, and PECS cards
Manage emotional regulation and de-escalate challenging classroom behaviour
Assist class teachers with lesson setup, resource prep, and display boards

Pay & Rate Guidelines

Daily rates from £85 to £125 per day (PAYE) with SEN allowances.
