Role Overview & Responsibilities

Healthcare Assistants deliver essential personal care, comfort, and monitoring for hospital patients and care residents. Emerald247 supplies trained HCAs holding Care Certificates to healthcare providers nationwide.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, and mobility support
• Record routine clinical observations (Blood Pressure, Pulse, Temp, Oxygen levels)
• Assist patients with nutritional intake and hydration tracking
• Sanitize patient bay areas and replace bed linens following infection control
• Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to vulnerable patients

Pay & Rate Guidelines

Hourly rates from £12.50 to £19 per hour (PAYE) with weekend/night enhancements.
